Alexandra Langstaff


Works with children and adults creating movement and dance while exploring physical language,  and encouraging spontaneous creative thinking and personal growth.

Students are encouraged to constructively channel physical energy through yoga, games, and developmentally appropriate activities.  Physical intelligence, social development, technique, flexibility, focus, strength and creativity evolve through imaginative use of movement, music and materials.

Her background in early childhood and elementary education and modern dance, combined with 20 years in the ski industry,  inspires an innovative dance program for students of all ages and abilities. 

School programs are tailored to fit the needs and challenges of students from ages 14 months through adults.

She provides workshops and dance programs for a wide range of participants; from toddlers to thespians and classroom teachers to church groups. She is a Certified Instructor for the Vermont Northern Lights Career Development Center.

Commitment for continuing education while attending the Creative Dance Center in Seattle, Washington, the National Dance Institute in Santa Fe, New Mexico, the Circus Yoga at Kripalu in Lenox, Massachusetts, and presenting for the National Dance Association allows Alexandra the opportunity to work and teach with some of the best in the business.
