In a Nutshell:

Alexandra's innovative programs continue to evolve from a background in early childhood and elementary education, yoga and modern dance, along with 20 years in the ski industry.

Commitment for continuing education while attending the Creative Dance Center in Seattle, Washington, the National Dance Institute in Santa Fe, New Mexico, the Circus Yoga at Kripalu in Lenox, Massachusetts, and presenting for the National Dance Association allows Alexandra the opportunity to work and teach with some of the best in the business. 

Technical Info:

Students are encouraged to constructively channel physical energy and develop creative thinking through yoga, dance, and developmentally appropriate activities.  Physical intelligence, social development, and technique improve through imaginative use of movement, music and materials.

She provides workshops and dance programs for a wide range of participants; from toddlers to thespians and classroom teachers to church groups.

Alexandra is a Specialist II Instructor for the Vermont Northern Lights Career Development Center. In addition she has a BS in Early Childhood Education and an MA in Creativity Studies with a focus on explaining and encouraging the creative process in educational as well as everyday situations. In addition to being a certified aerial yoga instructor, she is an E-500 RYT® and Shake Your Soul® dance teacher.

Alexandra received a grant from the Vermont Arts Council in October, 2021 to provide videos for “Hullabalooing Through the Alphabet”!

In addition to providing workshops for regional teachers and child care providers, Alexandra presented at Annual Conference for the American Association of Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance in San Diego 2011 and Boston in 2012.
